Abstract:
To provide a photochromic adhesive composition capable of exhibiting excellent photochromic property, and a photochromic optical article obtained by joining a pair of plates for optical article via an adhesive layer obtained by curing the composition and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: Provided are: a photochromic adhesive composition formed of (A) a photochromic compound, (B1) a poly iso(thio) cyanate compound having two or more iso(thio) cyanate groups in a molecule, (B2) a poly(ti)ol compound having two or more active hydrogen-containing groups selected from the hydroxyl group and thiol group in the molecule, (B3) mono(ti)ol compounds having one active hydrogen-containing group selected from the hydroxyl group and thiol group in the molecule, and (C) a liquid organic compound having a molecular weight of 200 or smaller; a photochromic optical article obtained by joining a pair of plates for optical article via an adhesive layer obtained by curing the composition; and its manufacturing method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
