To produce photochromic glass obtained by film on a glass substrate, being produced stably and having equivalent level of coloring and discoloring properties to that of photochromic glass obtained by fusing method, and to provide its producing method.
A first layer which contains copper, a silicon oxide and silver and in which copper concentration is higher than silver concentration, a second layer which contains a fine halogenated silver crystal, the silicon oxide and copper and in which copper concentration is lower than silver concentration and a third layer which contains copper, the silicon oxide and silver and in which copper concentration is higher than silver concentration, are formed subsequently on the glass substrate to obtain the objective photochromic glass, and its manufacturing method is provided.
