Title:
PHOTOCONDUCTIVE CAMERA TUBE TARGET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62131447
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain a high reproducibility of properties, a high productivity and a high sensitivity, by using an antimony oxide film as a beam landing layer.

CONSTITUTION: An electrical current is caused to flow through an enclosed tantalum-made boat set in a high-degree vacuum of 1×10-6Torr and containing about 3g of antimony trioxide, for example. The boat is thus heated to evaporate the antimony trioxide to make a beam landing layer 4 of an antimony trioxide vacuum evaporation film on a photoconductive film 3. The thickness of the beam landing layer 4 is set at about 500W4,000. If the thickness is less than that, a dark current increases. If the thickness is more than that, camera tube properties such as the persistence of vision except the sensitivity deteriorate.
