Title:
PHOTOCROSSLINKABLE ANTISENSE DNA AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING GENE EXPRESSION USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003339376
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an antisense DNA capable of inducing apoptosis via p53 to only cervical cancer cell by controlling only expression of E6 protein of a human papilloma virus (HPV) and by the remained E7 protein.

The antisense DNA is a photocrosslinkable psoralen-binding antisense S-oligonucleotide represented by the general formula {wherein, B is each base of the base sequence represented by AATCTCAGAATAAAA (SEQ ID NO.1 in the sequence table) (refer to the specification), AGTTAGTTTTTCCAA (SEQ ID NO.2 in the sequence table) (refer to the specification) or AATAAATTGTATAAC (SEQ ID NO.3 in the sequence table) (refer to the specification) covalently binding to each corresponding nucleotide individually and independently; n is an integer of 13}.
