To provide a photocurable coating composition excellent in surface smoothness, non-tackiness (surface tackiness control) and odor control, an overprint obtained using the photocurable coating composition, and a method for producing the overprint.

The photocurable coating composition contains (A) a polymer compound having a photopolymerization initiator residue and (B) a polymerizable compound. A monomer unit containing the photopolymerization initiator residue in the polymer compound preferably has a residue selected from the group consisting of an onium salt, a borate salt, a compound having an imide structure, a compound having a triazine structure, an azo compound, a peroxide, a lophin dimer and a benzoyl compound.
