Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable resin molded body that features superior strength as well as reduced thickness and retardation, a polarizing plate using the same, and a transmissive liquid crystal display.SOLUTION: A photocurable resin molded body is obtained by photocuring a photocurable composition containing a photocurable resin and ultraviolet polymerization initiator, the photocurable resin comprising two types of acrylates A, B having two or three (meth)acryloyl groups. The acrylate A has a urethane skeleton and an aromatic ring or alicyclic structure, and exhibits a tensile strength of no less than 40 N/mmand tensile elongation of 3-10%, inclusive, when made into the resin molded body alone. The acrylate B exhibits a tensile strength of 5-35 N/mm, inclusive, and tensile elongation of no less than 30% when made into the resin molded body alone. A weight ratio of the acrylate A to acrylate B shall be in a range of 90:10 to 10:90. The photocurable resin molded body has a thickness of 15-50 μm, inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None
