Abstract:
PURPOSE:To form a small-sized high density array by providing a transparent common electrode to the rear of a transparent substrate and providing a superconductive membrane layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A large number of superconductive membrane layers 1 are arranged on the transparent common electrode 3 laminated to the rear of a transparent substrate 2 so as to correspond to fine protruding parts 2a. A signal lead-out electrode 4 is provided to the surface reverse to the contact surface with the substrate 2 of each of the membrane layers 1. Each photodetector a load resistor 5 and a DC power supply 6 are connected in series and a proper quantity of a bias current flows to each light detection element. When the voltage-current characteristic of either one of the membranes 1 is changed, a CCD 9 successively takes in the light detection signal at every photodetector at a proper time interval through the electrode 4 corresponding to said light detection element and a signal take-in electrode 15 to send out the same to an output terminal 8.
