To provide a photoelectric conversion connector for a substrate in which the displacement of a photoelectric conversion element relative to a connector housing is not generated by mechanical stress and heat stress at a connection terminal.
A photoelectric conversion connector for a substrate includes a photoelectric conversion element 30 which is housed in a connector housing 10 and converts a light signal to an electric signal or the electric signal to the light signal and a connection terminal 20 which is fixed to the connector housing 10 and electrically connects the photoelectric conversion element 30 to an electric circuit of an outer substrate 5. The connection terminal 20 includes a fixing portion 22 pressed into the connector housing 10, a substrate-side connection portion 24 extended from one side of the fixing portion 22 to the outside of the connector housing 10 and connected with the outer substrate 5, and an element side connection portion 26 extended from the other side of the fixing portion 22 to the inside of the connector housing 10 and connected with the photoelectric conversion element 30. At least a portion of the substrate side connection portion 24 is bent.
