Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a photoelectric conversion device improved in the spectral response in a long-wavelength region, and superior in adsorption stability on a semiconductor microparticle surface or endurance; a dye-sensitized solar battery; a metal complex pigment; a dye solution, dye-adsorbed electrode; and a method for manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar battery.SOLUTION: Provided are a photoelectric conversion device, a metal complex pigment, a dye solution, dye-adsorbed electrode, a dye-sensitized solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof. The photoelectric conversion device comprises: a conductive support base; a photosensitive layer including an electrolyte; a charge-transfer object's layer including the electrolyte; and a counter electrode. The photosensitive layer has semiconductor microparticles on which a metal complex pigment expressed by the formula (I) below is supported. Formula (I): M(LA)(LD)(LX)(CI)[where M represents a metal ion; LA represents a tridentate ligand having three nitrogen-containing aromatic heterorings and having a particular structure; LD represents a bidentate or tridentate ligand in which at least one of ligand atoms is an anion; LX represents a monodentate ligand; CI represents a counter ion; mX is 0 or 1; and mY is an integer of 0-3.]
