Abstract:
To provide a photoelectric conversion device in which there is a small restriction in a setting of a vertical scan even in a mode for performing a plurality of different vertical scans at the same time in parallel, and which can suppress a vertical signal line which cannot be used even if the number of vertical signal lines is increased.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device comprises: a plurality of pixels; L vertical signal lines (L≥3) provided at each pixel; M selection circuits (M≥2) provided at each pixel; and a vertical scan circuit that scans each selection circuit. In the photoelectric conversion device, a first operation mode that scans a single reading scan by the vertical scanning circuit in the same period and a second operation mode that scans a plurality of reading scan by the vertical scanning circuit in the same period can be set. In the first operation mode, the reading scan is performed using a first selection circuit among the M selection circuits. In the second operation mode, the reading scanning is performed using the second selection circuit other than the first selection circuit among the M selection circuits.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
