Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the bending strength by a method wherein a semiconductor substrate generating photoelectro motive force is arranged in a frame of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. CONSTITUTION:A panel 10 is enclosed by the outer frame of said plastic, and the substrate in this frame is integrally formed with the outer frame by means of an auxiliary part 6 of said plastic. This substrate glass plate has strength completed through chemical reinforcing treatment and by burying carbon fiber nets in the neighborhood of the front and back surfaces. This glass is provided with the first electrode of Sn oxide doped with the double layer film of ITO (indium tin oxide) and Sn oxide, or halogen element such as fluorine to the first photo transmitting conductive film, and with a non single crystal semiconductor having at least one P-I-N junction on this first electrode and a semiconductor of polycrystalline or multilayer structure thereof. Further, the upper surface is provided with the second electrode made to ITO or ITO and reflective metal in contact with N type semiconductor. Thereby, even when the panel substrate and the panel are bent mechanically, the break or damage of the panel can be eliminated.
