To provide a photoelectric conversion element integrated circuit, capable of reducing the output terminals by efficiently multiplexing only a control signal whose phase characteristics are not so important and outputting it, and to provide an optical pickup device, a control signal generator, a drive control device, an optical recording medium drive device, and a control method for the same.
The photoelectric conversion element integrated circuit is provided with photodetectors 131 to 136 for receiving rays of light, to convert them into electrical signals, a generation means for recording information in an optical recording medium, based on the electric signals and generating a control signal to reproduce the information recorded in the optical recording medium, a multiplexing means for multiplexing the control signal in a time axis direction, and an output terminal for outputting the time-division multiplexed control signal.
