To provide: a photoelectric conversion element material that can be a material for a block layer excellent in a hole leak prevention property, an electronic transport property, heat resistance to a process temperature, transparency to visible light, and the like; and various electronic devices such as a photoelectric conversion element comprising the photoelectric conversion element material.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element material contains a compound represented by the formula (1) in the figure.
