Abstract:
To improve a photoelectric conversion efficiency of a photoelectric conversion element by enhancing light absorptivity.
The photoelectric conversion element 10 includes a photoelectric conversion layer 20, an antireflective film 32 provided on the side of a light receiving surface of the photoelectric conversion layer 20, a plurality of metal nanoparticles 36 arrayed in two dimensions on the opposite side of the light receiving surface of the photoelectric conversion layer 20, and a dielectric layer 38 covering surfaces of the metal nanoparticles 36. A number density of the plurality of metal nanoparticles 36 ranges from 5.0×108 particles/cm2 or greater to 3.0×109 particles/cm2 or less.
