Abstract:
To cause a pigment to efficiently absorb light by scattering at a light scattering layer and returning light which is incident from a counter electrode side and is not absorbed by a pigment of a semiconductor layer.
A photoelectric conversion element comprises: a semiconductor electrode including a substrate, a light scattering layer, a transparent conductive film and a pigment-absorbed semiconductor layer in this order; a light permeable counter electrode; and an electrolyte layer.
