Title:
PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION METHOD AND PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019134117
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a photoelectric conversion method for simply increasing a current flowing between a negative electrode and a positive electrode by irradiating the negative electrode and/or the positive electrode containing mutually different metals with light.SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion method includes a light irradiation step for increasing a current between a negative electrode 22 and a positive electrode 24 by irradiating the negative electrode and/or the positive electrode with light in a state that the electrically connected negative electrode and positive electrode are dipped in water. Standard electrode potential of a negative electrode metal is higher than -2.00 V, standard electrode potential of a positive electrode metal is higher than -2.00 V, the standard electrode potential of the positive electrode metal is higher than the standard electrode potential of the negative electrode metal, and a difference between the standard electrode potential values of the negative electrode metal and the positive electrode metal is larger than 0.20 V. In the light irradiation step, nanocrystal is formed on the surfaces of the negative electrode and/or the positive electrode, the nanocrystal contains oxide and/or hydroxide, the oxide contains a negative electrode metal and/or a positive electrode metal, and the hydroxide contains the negative electrode metal and/or the positive electrode metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
