Abstract:

PURPOSE: To conduct the operation test and the inoperation test of the photoelectric sensor in a short time as a detailed and easy work.
CONSTITUTION: When a check person approaches a magnet to a test use reed switch 13 and the switch 13 is closed, a resistance of a time constant circuit is decreased to a resistance RT2 only from a combined resistance of RT1, RT2, an oscillation period of an oscillation circuit 14 is short and an operation confirming light emitting element LED 1 and a smoke sensing light emitting element LED 2 start blinking for this period. Furthermore, when a shift register 15 is in enable state and shifted, a light emitting quantity of the test use light emitting element LED 3 is increased stepwise. When the light of the test use light emitting element LED 3 is received by a sensing use light receiving element PD and its voltage corresponding to the light exceeds a reference voltage, a thyristor SCR is turned on and the operation confirming light emitting element LED 1 is continuously lighted. The sensor is tested by the visual count by the check personnel for number of times of blinking of the operation confirming light emitting element LED 1.
