Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple configuration for detecting abnormality, in a transmission type photoelectric sensor.SOLUTION: A photoelectric sensor including a floodlight and an optical receiver, independent from each other, is provided. The photoelectric sensor includes a light emission part generating a projecting beam, and a power supply circuit for receiving power supply via a first power source line connected with the outside of the floodlight, and supplying required power to the light emission part. The optical receiver includes a first switching element connected with a second power source line connected with the outside of the optical receiver and outputting a first output signal, a second switching element connected with the second power source line and outputting a second output signal, and a detector for switching the conduction states of the first and second switching elements according to the intensity of the detected light. A third power source line having one end connected electrically with the first power source line in the floodlight, and the other end connected electrically with the second power source line on the outside of the optical receiver is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
