Abstract:
To enable a user to easily view a display of a photoelectric switch.SOLUTION: A photoelectric switch 1 has a housing having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. A display 5 is attached to a first surface which is an outer surface of the housing. A control board 30 is housed in the housing and a controller is mounted thereon. The first surface has a hole-like or notch-like opening 25 for passing a signal cable from the outside of the housing to the inside. The signal cable electrically connects the control board 30 disposed inside the housing with the display 5 disposed outside the housing. A cover member 4 has a window part 40 which exposes a display area of the display 5 and covers a non-display area of the display 5.
