Title:
PHOTOELECTRIC SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017072521
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric switch that can correctly detect even such a workpiece that changes color while suppressing wrong detection.SOLUTION: A photoelectric switch comprises: light projection means that projects detection light toward a detection area; light reception means that receives reflection light from the detection area; color information acquisition means that acquires color information on the basis of two or more light reception signals corresponding to each of two or more specific wavelengths; matching degree calculation means that compares the acquired color information with color information on a reference color to calculate a matching degree between both color information; detection signal generation means that compares the calculated matching degree with a predetermined detection determination threshold to conduct a workpiece determination; take-in instruction reception means that receives an instruction for taking in the reference color; and reference color specification means that specifies two or more reference colors on the basis of the take-in instruction. When color information is newly acquired, the detection signal generation means is configured to, of the matching degrees to be calculated by comparing the color information with color information on the two or more reference colors, respectively, compare the highest matching degree with the detection determination threshold to conduct a workpiece determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
