PURPOSE: To provide a photoelectric transfer tube such as a photomultiplier tube eliminating optical cross talk between mutually adjoining channels, and enabling measuring lights of plural channels accurately, concurrently, and independently.
CONSTITUTION: This photoelectric transfer tube is a multi-anode type photomultiplier tube 100 in which transparent parts 151-165 of plural channels are formed on a face plate 150 formed of a conductive material, having a thermal expansion coefficient nearly equal to that of glass, e.g. cobalt metal, photoelectric surfaces 110 are formed on the output ends (inner surfaces) of these transparent parts, and plural dynode rows, e.g. 120, and anodes 131 corresponding to 120, are arranged on the output end of the respective photoelectric surfaces. A measuring incident light is separated with the transparent parts 151-166 formed independently, is entered into the photoelectric surfaces 110 formed on the output ends of these transparent parts, eliminating optical cross talk between mutually adjoining channels. Photoelectrons radiated from the photoelectric surfaces are multiplied with the plural dinode rows arranged corresponding to the plural channels, and the multiplied photoelectrons are outputted to outside the photomultiplier as an electric signal with the anodes.
