PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject textile fabric with any fine pattern, high in the density of colored wafts lying within a specified spacing, without the need of any special capital investment, by weaving in a plurality of ground warps in parallel with one another between pile yarns adjacent to each other. SOLUTION: This towel textile fabric is obtained by the following method: colored wefts 1-5 and colorless wafts are set on a jacquard machine in a switchable way, the colorless wefts are woven in warps comprising a pile yarn (p) and ground warps g1 , g2 to form a pile part, while the colored wefts 1-5 are woven in the above warps to form a border part, where a plurality of the ground warps g1 , g2 are situated between the pile yarns (p) adjacent to each other and set in motion individually together with the colored wefts 1-5 using the jacquard machine to hold the colored wefts 1-5 with the ground warps g1 , g2 to effect infestation of the colored wefts between the surface and ground texture, and a plurality of the ground warps g1 , g2 are woven in parallel with one another between the pile yarns (p) adjacent to each other. It is preferable that the ground warps g1 , g2 are in parallel in two between the pile yarns (p).
