To provide a photograph printer having a function of preventing originally important regions from being lost in a specified color region extracting process, a control program and an information memory medium for the printer.
The photograph printer receives inputted images of a photographed object, edits and prints them. It comprises a process for extracting regions with a specified color from the inputted image of the object to be edited, based on whether each pixel of the image to be edited is by the specified color; a process for outputting the image subjected to the specified color region extracting process to a display having a contact position detecting function by a pointing device; a process for determining a correcting region of the image to be edited, based on a travel trace input of the pointing device, after receiving the travel trace input of the pointing device on the display having the contact position detecting function; and a process for generating an edited image by executing required processes for preventing the correcting region of the image to be edited from being subjected to the specified color extracting process, or making the background transmit about the correcting region.
