To realize a printing of a large size by using an existing image display device without the occurrence of cost increase.
Plural images A and B are displayed side by side in a direction corresponding to a transporting direction of photographic paper P in an LCD 12. Printing lenses 13a and 13b which converge the light rays respectively corresponding to the images A and B to one beam and introduces the same to the different positions in the transverse direction Y of at least the photographic paper P and light shielding masks 14 for shielding part of the light rays introduced to the respective positions so as to print the different positions of the photographic paper P with the respective display images A and B are disposed. The printing lenses 13a and 13b are disposed respectively in correspondence to the different positions. The light shielding masks 14 are disposed respectively in correspondence to the different positions described above. The device has an aperture 14a allowing the transmission of only the light corresponding to the image A and an aperture 14b allowing the transmission of only the light corresponding to the image B.
