Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a print photograph which has a desired kind of surface by using one kind of photographic paper without replacing the photographic paper according to the kind of the surface of the print photograph.
CONSTITUTION: When a silk finish print photograph is obtained by using the photographic paper 10 which provides a glossy surface finish, a shift part 41 presses the silk finished surface 31a against the photographic paper 10 to form fine unevenness on the surface of the photosensitive paper 10. When a print photograph with a finely granular surface is obtained, a slide part 42 slides a pressure roller 31 and the shift part 41 presses a finely granular finished surface 31b against the photosensitive paper 10 to form fine unevenness on the surface. For a print photograph having a glossy surface, the pressure roller 31 is held in a retracted state. A controller 40 puts the shift part 41 and slide part 42 in operation according to a surface kind mark 33 read by a surface kind mark reader 30 to automatically perform surface kind processing.
