Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the photo sensor system by which gradation is expressed with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Photosensors whose output is inverted in the sense state in a time in response to a radiation luminous quantity are arranged to a sensor section 3 in a matrix shape, and each photo sensor repeats the sense state and the reset state sequentially for each line in a predetermined sense time based on a sense/reset signal from a picture element section drive circuit 2. The sense time is set shorter by a predetermined time when the processing as to all photosensors is finished and similarly all the photosensors are processed. An output signal VOUT of each photosensor is outputted to a signal inversion detection section 5, which detects a critical sense time of the photosensor whose output signal VOUT is inverted by counting clocks from a clock generating section 4 to provide address data and its critical sense time of the photosensor whose output signal VOUT is inverted to a gradation discrimination section 6. The gradation discrimination section 6 converts the sense time into gradation.
