Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize operations corresponding to a color phase by performing write from the address of either an odd number or an even number at the time of performing storage and controlling a brightness/chrominance signal separating means with its as a reference so as to discriminate whether a read starting address is an odd-numbered address or an even-numbered address.
CONSTITUTION: The video signals of an A/D converter 4 are written in a field memory 5 and the write starting address is controlled so as to be the odd- numbered address by a memory controller 7. A write starting row address is defined as (a read ending row address) +2 when the read ending row address is the odd number and is defined as (the read ending row address) + 1 when the read ending row address is the even number and the write is performed from the leading line of vertical valid lines. Also, for address control in a horizontal direction, the leading picture elements of the video signals in respective lines from a CCD imaging device 3 are written so as to be one column of the field memory. In this case, the write starting row address and starting column address are the odd number and the odd number or the even number can be recognized from a least significant bit.
