To make the positioning accuracy of a recorded picture at a specified mask position very reliable in terms of all the pictures recorded on photographic film by providing perforation sensors detecting perforation on the upstream side and the downstream side of the mask position in a carrying direction.
The perforation sensor 31 and the perforation sensor 32 detecting the perforation are provided on the upstream side and the downstream side of the mask position 71 in the carrying direction, respectively. The sensors 31 and 32 are respectively provided at positions where a part between two perforations of a perforation set stops when the picture recorded on the photographic film is positioned at the mask position 71. The sensors 31 and 32 exist in such a way, whereby an influence that the detecting accuracy of carrying feed amount is lowered at the time of starting and stopping carrying is prevented from being exerted on the detection of the perforation by both sensors 31 and 32.
