To provide a lens module which can change its focal length and be made small and thin.

The lens module has a fixed sensor holder 1, and a lens base 2 which can move, corresponding to the lens to be used. The sensor holder 1 has an image sensor 3, consisting of a CCD or a CMOS sensor, etc. The lens base 2 has a wide-angle lens holder 8 for supporting a wide-angle lens frame 7, a TELE lens holder 11 for supporting a TELE lens frame 10, a 2nd mirror 12, and a shutter 13. The lens base 2 can move almost in parallel with the imaging surface of the image sensor 3. Since the optical path can be made large, by changing the angle of the light from the object using the 1st and 2nd mirrors 12, the lens module can be made satisfactory thin in the direction of the optical axis, and realizing small thickness.
