To provide a photographic lens which has high resolution, small distortion aberration, long back focus, and excellent telecentricity and is compact and few in the number of constitutive lens.
The photographic lens meets conditional inequalities, i.e. (1) 2.8<TL/f<3.8, (2) 0.8<bf/f<1.1, (3) 0.9<f1-2/f<1.4, (4) 0.4<f3/f<0.7 (f3<0), (5) 1.1<f5/f4<1.4, (6) 1.65<(n2+n4+n5)/3<1.84, and (7) 20<((ν2+ν4+ν5)/3)-ν3<30. Here, TL is the distance from a 1st lens object-side surface to an image plane (air converted distance for a parallel plane glass part), (f) the composite focal length of the whole lens system, bf the back focus in an infinite- distance object point (air converted distance for the parallel plane glass part), f1-2 the composite focal length of a 1st lens group, f3, f4, and f5 the focal lengths of 3rd to 5th lenses, n2, n4, and n5 the d-line refractive indexes of 2nd, 4th, and 5th lenses, and ν2, ν3, ν4, and ν5 the Abbe numbers of the 2nd to 5th lenses.
