PURPOSE: To decrease the replenishing amt. of a processing liquid having a desilvering power by integrally processing a 1st color photosensitive material and 2nd color photosensitive material which are respectively specified in the average contents of the silver iodide of silver halide emulsions.

CONSTITUTION: At least a part of the liquid in at least one of processing tanks 32 having the desilvering power possessed by a 1st processing section and at least a part of the liquid in at least one of the washing tanks 33, 43 possessed by the 1st and 2nd processing section 30, 40 are admitted into at least one of the processing tanks 42 having the desilvering power possessed by the 2nd processing section 40. The 2nd silver halide color photosensitive material having ≥3mol% average content of silver iodide is processed by using the processing liquid having the desilvering power after the processing of the 1st silver halide color photosensitive material having <3mol% average content of the silver iodide of the silver halide emulsion applied on a base. Thus, the using amt. of the processing liquid having the desilvering power is decreased.
