Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a photographic screen size switching camera and a film cartridge capable of photographing by a standard photographic screen size in the case that a perforation exists, and capable of photographing by a larger photographic screen size in the case that the perforation does not exist.
CONSTITUTION: The camera is provided with mask plates 47 and 48 for setting the photographic screen size, a perforation detecting means 23 for detecting whether or not the perforation exists on a loaded film and a mask plate moving means for receiving the output of the detecting means, and for moving the mask plate for setting the photographic screen size inward in the case that the perforation exists, and for positioning the mask plate for setting the photographic screen size outside the part corresponding to the perforation in the case that the perforation does not exist.
