Title:
PHOTOGRAPHIC SILVER HALIDE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5782835
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled element forming a fine positive image with high sensitivity, low minimum density and high maximum density by coating a support with an internal latent image type silver halide emulsion contg. no fogging nuclei and having a specified degree of surface sensitization.

CONSTITUTION: Water soluble silver salt is mixed with water soluble halide and an aqueous peptizer soln. of silver halide to prepare an emulsion contg. internal latent image type silver halide particles contg. no fogging nuclei. This emulsion is aged and coated to form layers each having 3.5W4.5g/m2 silver. The surfaces of the silver halide particles are then sensitized so that the sensitivity according to a sensitivity representing method of table II after long-time exposure is made lower than that after short-time exposure by 0.10 when the layers are exposed for 1/1,000sec and 8sec and developed with a developer of table I at 20°C for 4min, respectively. A support is coated with the resulting emulsion to obtain a photographic silver halide element for forming a positive image.
