Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a shade-changed image as a photographing supporting display for capturing an image which a user desires and likes.SOLUTION: A photographing apparatus comprises: an imaging unit which captures an image of a subject; a light source direction determination unit which determines the direction of a light source for illuminating a target in the captured image; a shade change unit which generates a shade-changed image obtained by correcting the shade of the image of the target in accordance with a distance from the light source, at a position in the captured image according to the direction of the light source; and a display control unit which superimposes the shade-changed image on the captured image and displays the result.
