Abstract:

To provide a photographing apparatus capable of performing lens driving with excellent responsibility while securing energy saving.

Movable lens frames 53, 54 provided with lens groups G3, G4 constituting a zoom optical system are connected so as to be movable by stepping motors 44a, 44b, and are coupled by an energizing spring 55 where a force amount for energization varies according to a distance between the lens groups G3, G4. A control unit performs speed control when the lens groups G3, G4 are driven by the stepping motors 44a, 44b according to the distance between the lens groups.
