Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of displaying necessity of an ND filter on a display screen to lighten burden of a user in the case where insertion/extraction of the ND filter is manually performed.SOLUTION: A photographing apparatus comprises: a photographing optical system including an aperture diameter variable section; imaging means for receiving a subject image via the photographing optical system and converting the image into an imaging signal; exposure time variable means; control means for adjusting the imaging signal to a predetermined level by setting and controlling a first imaging condition including an aperture diameter and exposure time; and photographing information display means for displaying first photographing information indicating at least one of the aperture diameter and the exposure time included in the first imaging condition on a display screen. The control means calculates a value, which reflects an extinction effect by a predetermined neutral density filter to the first imaging condition regarding the aperture diameter and the exposure time, as a second imaging condition, and the photographing information display means displays second photographing information indicating at least one of the aperture diameter and the exposure time included in the second imaging condition on the display screen together with the first photographing information.
