PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device, an imaging control method, and a program for maintaining an appropriate imaging condition during the photography of a moving image.SOLUTION: A photographing device includes: an AF adjustment control part 51; a first AF adjustment part 52; a second AF adjustment part 53; and an input part 22. The first AF adjustment part 52 adjusts an imaging condition on the basis of a variable measurement range in a captured image to be captured by the imaging part. A second AF adjustment part 53 adjusts the imaging condition on the basis of a measurement area whose position is fixed in the captured image. The AF adjustment control part 51 performs control to continue the adjustment of the imaging condition by the first AF adjustment part 52 during the photography of the moving image. An input part 22 or a determination part instructs a change of control to adjust the imaging condition by the AF adjustment control part 51. The AF adjustment control part 51 interrupts the adjustment of the imaging condition continuously performed by the first AF adjustment part 52, and starts the adjustment of the imaging condition by the second AF adjustment part 53 in response to the instruction of the input part 22 or the determination part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
