To provide a photographing method and a photographing device by which a subject and a background are easily separated from each other with a simple structure.

A color filter 16 through which only specific color light passes is attached to the front of a stroboscope 14 which emits light interlocked with photography by a camera 10. By arranging a screen 20 composed of retroreflection material behind the subject 18 and making the stroboscope 14 emit the light under such brightness environment that the subject 18 can be photographed, the subject 18 is photographed by the camera 10. The specific color light emitted from the stroboscope 14 is reflected by the screen 20 composed of the retroreflection material, whereby the background of the subject 18 is in the specific color out of an image taken by the camera 10, and the background is separated from the subject 18.
