CONSTITUTION: Since the resistor 44 secured to a less barrel 40 turns together as the lens barrel 40 turns, the resistance value between the contact pieces 48A and 48B in contact with the resistor 44 changes. The signal produced by this change and the signal of a distance measuring circuit are compared and when they coincide, a magnet 55 is turned OFF, by which a lever 53 is pulled to a spring 54 and turns counterclockwise, then the pawl part 53A of the lever 53 intermeshes with ratchet gear 52A, thus stopping the lens barrel 40.
