Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system which records the direction and velocity of wind acting on a photographing object in cross-reference with a photographed image.
SOLUTION: A wind direction and velocity information transmission apparatus 100 measures the wind direction and velocity and wirelessly transmits the measured data to a digital camera 200. The digital camera 200 receives the measured data, measures a photographing azimuth, includes the wind direction (absolute wind direction), the wind velocity, and the photographing azimuth to photographing attachment information and records the information to a memory card 212 together with the photographed image. Thus, installing the wind direction and velocity information transmission apparatus 100 in the vicinity of the photographing object and photographing the photographing object by the digital camera 200 records the direction and velocity of the wind acting on the photographing object in cross-reference with the photographed image. A personal computer 300 obtains a relative wind direction to the photographing object on the basis of the wind direction and the photographing azimuth recorded in the memory card 212 to generate a wind image denoting relative wind direction and wind velocity and superimposes the wind image on the photographed image to allow a monitor 350 to display the resulting image.
