To provide a photography processing apparatus capable of effectively removing foreign matters stuck to a photographic paper sheet.

A foreign matter removing mechanism 30 for removing the foreign matters stuck to the photographic paper sheet 2 is disposed in the vicinity of a supply magazine wherein the photographic paper 2 is stored, in a printer. The foreign matter removing mechanism 30 includes; an enclosure 31 which is disposed on a conveyance path of the photographic paper sheet 2 and has an entrance port 31b and an exit port 31c through which the photographic paper sheet can pass; a plurality of discharge needles 33b which are arrayed along a breadthwise direction of the photographic paper sheet 2 within the enclosure 31 and extend in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the photographic paper 2 and generate ions by producing corona discharge; brushes 38 and 39 which are disposed between the photographic paper sheet 2 and the discharge needles 33b and extend in the breadthwise direction of the photographic paper sheet 2 and are respectively attached to revolving shafts 34 and 35 rotationally driven by motors; and an air current generation mechanism for generating a current of air guiding air in the enclosure 31 out of the apparatus.
