To enable a photographer to easily discriminate whether photographing conditions based on photometric data are adequate or not and to correct the conditions when a photographic system is formed by combining a digital camera or wireless flash and a photometric data for photography.
A flash meter 1 is enabled to communicate two-ways between the digital camera 100 and the flash 200 by Bluetooth and has an image display element 21. When photometry is performed by the flash meter 1, the emitted light quantity of the flash is computed in accordance with the photometric data and the photometric data and the emitted light quantity data are respectively sent to the camera 100 and the flash 200. The camera 100 performs test flash photography by emitting the flash 200 and this photographic image is sent to the flash meter 1. The flash meter 1 displays the photographic image on the image display element 21. As a result, the photographer can monitor the test photographic image in the photometric position.
