Abstract:
A photonic crystal optical fiber and a manufacturing method therefor, comprising an optical fiber body (10), a fiber core (11) provided at the center of the optical fiber body (10), and multiple air holes (42) provided within the optical fiber body (10). Each air hole (42) is spirally shaped, and, the direction of rotation of the multiple air holes (42) is identical. On any one cross-section in the radial direction of the optical fiber body (10), the arrangement of the multiple air holes (42) is an arrangement surrounding the fiber core (11).
