PURPOSE: To obtain a photopolymerizable composition excellent in alkali developability and especially a binder to constitute the composition by incorporat ing a photopolymerization initiator, an addition-polymerizable monomer and a specified resin.
CONSTITUTION: A photopolymerization initiator or a photopolymerization base, an addition-polymerizable monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated double bond, a resin having repeating units shown by formulas I and II and having 500-30,000 number average mol.wt. and a resin obtained by the reaction of 1.0 to 0.1 equivalent of a primary amine shown by formula III with one equivalent of an anhydride group are incorporated. In the formulas I to III, Ar1 is phenyl (the phenyl can be replaced by 1-4C alkyls, 1-4C alkoxyls, 6-10C aryls, 8-12C aralkyls, halogen atom or the combination of the ≥2 kinds), (x) and (y) are the molar fraction of the repeating unit in the resin, x=0.85 to 0.55, y=0.15 to 0.45, R is 1-6C alkylenes, and Ar2 is aryls.
