PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable compsn. and a photopolymerizable lithographic printing plate having high sensitivity to the light of the near IR region, excellent stability with time, no sensitivity to the light of the UV region and excellent handling property even in a place illuminated with a white fluorescent lamp.
SOLUTION: This photopolymerizable compsn. contains a combination of the following components (A), (B-1) and (B-2), or (A), (B) and (C), and the photopolymerizable lithographic printing plate has a layer of the photopolymerizable compsn. on the surface of a supporting body. The components are (A) an ethylenic unsatd. compd. consisting of a (meth) acryloyloxyalkyl group-contg. amine compd. and/or a (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl group-contg. phosphate compd., (B-1) a cyanine dye cation in which heterocycles are combined by a polymethine chain, (B-2) an org. boron anion, (B) a salt of a cyanine dye cation in which heterocycles are combined by a polymethine chain and a counter anion except for org. boron anions, and (C) a halomethyl group-contg. compd.
