To provide a method for producing an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive and a polarizing board laminated with an adhesive sheet, in which method not only does polymerization scarcely suffer inhibition by oxygen so that a high polymerization degree can be achieved even when a thin film is formed through the polymerization, but also an excellent anchoring property to the polarizing board is achieved.
This photopolymerizable composition comprises photopolymerizable monomers composed mainly of an alkyl (meth)acrylate, a photopolymerization initiator and a phosphite compound having a boiling point of 160°C or lower. An acrylic type pressure sensitive adhesive is obtained by polymerizing the photopolymerizable composition by light irradiation. A method for preparing a polarizing board laminated with an adhesive sheet comprises applying the photopolymerizable composition on a releasing sheet; polymerizing the photopolymerizable composition by light irradiation followed by heating, to thereby obtain a laminate comprising a releasing sheet having an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive layer formed thereon; and sticking a polarizing board to the adhesive-side surface of the laminate.
