Abstract:
To provide a photopolymerizable composition and a photopolymerizable flexographic printing element for obtain a flexographic printing plate not having excessive hardness and anisotropy and having advantageous characteristics of SBS rubber and to provide a method for using the element.
The photopolymerizable composition contains a mixture of a prescribed thermoplastic elastomer SIS and an SBS block copolymer as a binder and further contains an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a plasticizer and a photoinitiator. The photopolymerizable flexographic printing element contains the composition in a photopolymerizable layer. In the method for using the element, the element is used in the production of a flexographic printing plate.
