Abstract:

To obtain a photopolymerizable resin compsn. excellent in shelf stability and ensuring satisfactory dispersibility of a pigment or dye and to produce a color filter using the resin compsn.

This photopolymerizable resin compsn. contains a compd. having at least one addition polymerizable ethylenic unsatd. double bond, a polymer binder and a photopolymn. initiator. The polymer binder contains (meth)acrylic ester represented by the formula as a copolymerizable component. In the formula, R1 is H or methyl, R2 is 1-8C alkylene which may have alkyl in a side chain, R3 is H, alkyl which may have alkyl in a side chain, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, hydroxyalkoxyalkyl or aryl and (n) is an integer of 1-30.
