Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject topically applicable composition excellent in cosmetic properties and in photoprotective force against UV irradiation, particularly solar radiation, and suitable for topical use for enhanced photoprotection of human skin and/or hair by including a specific screening agent and an oil in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) 2,4,6-tris{p-[(2'ethylhexyl) oxycarbonyl]anilino}-1,3,5-triazine of formula I as a screening agent and (B) at least one selected from a compound of material II [R is a 6-12C (branched) alkyl; A is a 3-12C (branched) alkylene; (a), (b) are each 0, 1 wherein (a), (b) are each simultaneously not 0], a compound of formula III [R1 is an aroyl, a 10-18C (branched) alkyl; R2 is H, CH2-COO-(3-18C) (branched) alkyl; (c), (d), (e) are each 0-30, wherein (c)+(d)+(e) ≥8] and formula IV [R4 is a 10-22C (branched) alkyl; R5 is H, a COO-(10-22C) (branched) alkyll in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle in the form of an oilin-water type emulsion, etc.
