Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the crack and the crazing of a supporting body from being caused by driving force without increasing the quantity of synthetic resin material to be used by fixing a member to be driven at the thick end of the supporting body having a large difference between an outside diameter and an inside diameter and driving and rotating it around an axial line.
SOLUTION: This photoreceptor 1 includes the supporting body 2 made of conductive synthetic resin, a member to be driven 3 fixed at one end in the direction of the axial line 16 of the supporting body, and a supporting member 4 fixed at the other end. The supporting body 2 is cylindrical and its outside diameter is uniform in the axial direction, but it has inclination to be changed so that its inside diameter may be smaller and smaller in the axial direction toward the right in figure. Then, the member 3 is fixed at the thick end 9 of the supporting body 2 where the difference between the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface 8 is large. Thus, the mechanical strength of the supporting body 2 is improved without increasing the quantity of the synthetic resin to be used for the supporting body 2, and the crack, the crazing and the rupture at the end 9 of the supporting body 2 are prevented.
